When I think of the color burgundy I think of a color that reminds us that fall is approaching; it’s a color that represents comfort and warmth. This year the color burgundy means so much more than just a sign that the seasons are changing. The month of September marks Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month. As you may or may not know, my world was turned upside down on April 29th of this year because my husband passed away suddenly from a ruptured brain aneurysm. Since his passing I have learned so much about this horrible condition that affects 6 million people in the U.S. on an annual basis (I’ll be writing more about this condition in my Red Stiletto Diaries in the next few days). For now, I find myself gravitating towards this wonderful, warm color to celebrate not only the arrival of fall, but to celebrate my husband’s life and his spirit. Check back later this week to see more outfits with the color burgundy!
